Lucas Lallinger

Lucas Lallinger is a counsel in Elias Law Group’s litigation practice. Lucas represents clients in a variety of redistricting, voting rights, election, and constitutional law matters in courts around the country. 

Lucas joined ELG from the Department of Justice, where he served as an Attorney-Adviser in the Office of Legal Counsel, providing legal advice to the Attorney General, Counsel to the President, and executive branch agencies on complex issues of statutory and constitutional law. During his time at OLC, Lucas received the Attorney General’s John Marshall Award for providing legal advice in matters of significant importance to the government. Lucas also worked as a trial attorney in the Environment and Natural Resources Division at the Department, litigating a range of administrative and constitutional law cases on behalf of the Biden Administration. Prior to his work at the Department of Justice, Lucas clerked for the Honorable Theodore A. McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and worked as a litigation associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP. 

Lucas is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University and Yale Law School, where he served as a Coker Fellow and a member of the Legal Services for Immigrant Communities Clinic. Lucas is based out of ELG’s Washington, D.C. office.
