Christina Ford is an associate in Elias Law Group’s Litigation practice, where she represents voters, candidates, non-profit organizations, and political parties in high-stakes litigation.

Christina’s practice encompasses all aspects of both federal and state litigation, including pleadings, fact and expert depositions, motion practice, trial practice, and oral argument. She also has experience in appellate briefing, including at the United States Supreme Court.

At ELG, Christina is a core member of the firm’s redistricting litigation team, where she currently leads the team challenging Florida’s congressional plan under Florida’s Fair Districts Amendments.

Prior to ELG’s founding, Christina was a key member of the litigation team defending the 2020 presidential election results in battleground states such as Pennsylvania and Michigan. During the 2020 election cycle, Christina appeared in federal court on behalf of voters, campaigns, and national party committees and successfully defeated a Republican attempt to disenfranchise more than 100,000 Texas voters just days before the general election. Earlier that election season, Christina was a member of multiple litigation teams which secured favorable settlements with states to make it easier for voters to register to vote and to cast their ballots.

Christina has also successfully represented Members of Congress against defamation suits and has experience representing congressional candidates in election contests before the House of Representatives.

Christina clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She earned her degree from Yale Law School, where she served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal.
