Spencer Klein is an associate in Elias Law Group's litigation practice. While at ELG, Spencer has litigated cases to protect citizens’ voting rights, stop gerrymandering, and defend the right to free speech and association.
Prior to ELG, Spencer worked as a litigator at an international law firm. During the 2020 election, Spencer took leave from his previous firm to work as a Voter Protection Associate for the Florida Democratic Party.
Spencer is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an associate editor for the Michigan Law Review. After law school, Spencer completed a yearlong clerkship for Judge Carolyn Dineen King on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Before attending law school, Spencer spent a year teaching English to high school students in Hamburg, Germany as part of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.
Spencer is based out of ELG’s Washington, D.C. office.
