Marilyn Gabriela Robb is an associate in the Litigation practice group. She represents voters, candidates, non-profit organizations, and political parties in high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts across the country.  Her practice focuses on fighting voter suppression, challenging unlawful redistricting plans, and preserving free and fair elections.

At ELG, Marilyn was part of the trial team that successfully invalidated three Montana voter suppression laws.  She has also been part of teams that successfully preserved the availability of drop boxes in Pennsylvania and secured a favorable summary judgment ruling finding that the Missouri Attorney General’s office under Josh Hawley violated open records laws and ordering the office to pay maximum fines and fees.

Prior to ELG, Marilyn worked on high-profile civil rights cases as an associate at Katz Banks Kumin and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Law & Policy Review and was awarded the Dean's Award for Community Leadership.  Prior to law school, Marilyn taught middle school as a Teach for America corps member.
